Wingless Sprints W.A Calendar Update

October 18 - In exciting news for Wingless Sprints in W.A, confirmation has been received that the class will be running all 4 rounds of the Southern Thunder Series at Collie and Bunbury Speedway. More detail will be available in coming days, but early indications are the 4 round series is being very well supported and will see drivers chasing the most substantial prize pool the class has seen in W.A. Lee Nash Update

October 18 - Anyone in attendance at Friday night's Perth Motorplex season opener for the Wingless Sprints here in W.A, would no doubt be wondering how Lee Nash has fared after a big wreck involving he and Marshall McDiarmid. Nash was trapped in the car for a long time and ultimately the fire brigade were required to free Nash from the car as his initial attempt to pull himself from the car revealed a potential back injury......READ MORE

Gilpin Storms To Round 1 Win

October 16 - Esperance based Cory Gilpin has upstaged some of the better known drivers in Friday night's season opener at the Perth Motorplex. Gilpin had a strong finish to the 2009 / 10 season, his first, but with no disrespect intended a quick poll around the pits would have been unlikely to throw #49 as anyone's first guess for the night's feature winner. But win he did, ahead of Lee Redmond and Jono Coyle, with Carl Pickersgill following the trio home......READ MORE

The Countdown Is Over

Our Car Autos Series Final Facts

April 24 - The 10th and final round of the Our Car Autos Perth Motorplex series is in the books, and Lee Nash completed the formalities last night of taking the series out. April 4 - Trevor Reynolds claimed the Silver Cup for wingless sprints at the Perth Motorplex last night, in the process taking his second Motorplex feature in a row, and his third from the last six at the venue. Daryl Clayden Wins AWSR National Title At Mt Gambier

March 7 - News has filtered out of Mount Gambier that W.A driver Daryl Clayden has won the 2010 Australian Wingless Sprints National Title. Clayden had two wins, a third and a fourth from his four heats, enough to earn him a front row start for the all important final. Two rows back, the other W.A entry Lee Nash had also earned himself a start well up in the field......READ MORE

March 7 - Some nights at the track come and go with a distinct lack of fanfare. Other nights prove to be much more compelling viewing, and Fast Friday 5 was certainly one of the latter for the House of Computer Rentals #95 team. House of Computer Rentals #95 Changes Hands

January 28 - Saturday night will see Adrian LaMacchia make his 2009 / 10 debut for Kaaks Racing in the House of Computer Rentals #95 at Bunbury Speedway. Having driven a wingless sprint twice previously, once in the BMMS #7 at Perth Motorplex and at Margaret River in the Berend Kaaks owned #95 in the absence of those drivers, this will be the first meeting of a longer term stint than a one off drive......READ MORE
