NEWS RELEASE

Good Luck Mr President

December 17 - While many left the Perth Motorplex last night, and headed home to relax for the festive season and / or prepare cars for the busy post Xmas racing season, Wingless Sprints W.A President Daryl Clayden headed for Perth Airport en route to Toowoomba for the Queensland State Title. Clayden will be driving the U Build Trailers / QT Chassis Q28 of AWSR National President Allan Woods when he takes to Charlton Raceway tonight in a field of 17, hoping to be the second West Australian to return home this season with another state's main trophy after Daniel Keen's success in the Northern Territory.

During a busy night at the Perth Motorplex last night, Clayden did confess that he had never been to Charlton Raceway before, but simply hopes for a more successful trip to Queensland than hsi last, when his National Title defence was rained out. Obvious threats to Clayden's hopes for a daring raid on the Queensland Title include Wayne Lemon who leads the Queensland pointscore, and Daniel Moes who has already won both feature races at Charlton Raceway this season and sits 3rd in the points despite missing 2 of the 6 rounds.

On behalf of Wingless Sprints W.A, good luck Daryl.
